On my own for the week

My hubby had to leave for the week, but the ship will be back at the end of the week. This means I get to eat soup as often as I want, and Greek salad and crab louis salad and stuff like that. I can go to Santanas and get cheese enchiladas next to the San Diego airport and just get out and get out of the house. I have a tendency to "hermit" whenever hubby is out of town and he tells me to re-connect with knitting buddies and stuff but I get busy and don't.
One friend finished the Kauni shawl I had given her the pattern and the yarn for and I still need to re-start the shawl I am doing in the same colorway. I haven't knit on any of the shawls.
I am gardening!!!! We have been planting tomatoes and peppers and some other stuff. Dang, I forgot I need to get those kale babies in the ground as they have outgrown their pots and the roots are coing out of the bottom. The escarole plants are ready to be made into soup and other neat dishes.
I love cooking from the garden.
